Red Rage In FlightOne of the last flights of the spring before moult. Now The rattler has shed his skin. A brilliant jay feather of midnight blue may be found under a juniper. The boil of thunderheads shed rain. Burn scars shed ash into the flood. Elk shed ragged velvet. On a cholla spine, fur of coyote. Soon the aspen will turn.
